Since March of 2004, I've been frequenting Excel forums, such as the Microsoft Newsgroups (no longer in existence, and replaced with Microsoft Answers Forum),  the MrExcel Message Board, the Ozgrid Forum, and the Excel Forum.  During this time, I've been providing those who seek help with anything from simple to somewhat complex formula solutions.

When I first started, I thought I knew Excel fairly well. However, after taking a look at some of the solutions offered by others, I soon realized that I had barely scratched the surface and that I still had a lot to learn.

Over the years, I've been expanding my knowledge by seeing how others combine different Excel functions to come up with a formula solution. If there's something I don't understand, I refer to Excel's help files. And if I still don't fully understand, I ask questions. It's amazing how much one can learn this way.
